True Crime Case Histories All Books

Photo Policy & Removal Requests

The photo appendices on this site accompany the True Crime Case Histories book series by Jason Neal. They exist so readers of the books can see the people, places, and evidence behind each documented case.

How these images are used

Images on this site are presented for editorial, documentary, and educational purposes in connection with published works of nonfiction. They include law-enforcement releases, court records and exhibits, archival material, and imagery that has appeared in public news coverage of each case. Images are shown at modest resolution, with captions, in the context of commentary on matters of public record.

Rights holders

We make a good-faith effort to use imagery appropriately, and we respect the rights of photographers and publishers. If you own the copyright to an image on this site and would like it credited differently or removed, we will act promptly — no formal legal notice required.
