True Crime Case Histories is operated by iDigital Group LLC, 411 Walnut St #24274, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043, USA. We’re the “data controller” for the information described here. You can reach us at [email protected].
You can create your account and sign in with your Google account instead of a password. If you do, Google shares with us only your name, email address and profile picture, and confirms that the email address belongs to you. We ask for nothing else: we can’t see your Google password, contacts, emails, files or any other Google data.
We use this information only to create and sign in to your account, to recognise you when you come back, and to send the account emails described below. We don’t sell it, don’t use it for advertising, and don’t share it with anyone except the providers listed under “Who we share it with” that run your account. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can stop signing in with Google at any time by removing True Crime Case Histories from your Google account’s third-party connections. To have your account and the information we received from Google deleted, email [email protected].
We do not sell your personal information, and we don’t send marketing email to members unless you separately subscribe to a newsletter.
We use a small number of service providers to run the site. Each receives only what it needs for its job and may not use it for anything else.

Some of these providers process data in the United States. Where you’re in the UK or EU, transfers rely on the providers’ standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
We use browser storage for two things: keeping you signed in, and remembering your listening position. Google Analytics sets cookies to tell repeat visits from new ones. You can clear or block cookies in your browser; the site will still work, but you may need to sign in again and your listening position may be lost.
Account information is kept while your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove it within 30 days, except for payment records, which we keep for as long as tax and accounting law requires (generally seven years). Analytics data is retained by Google Analytics for 14 months.
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold, correct it, or delete it, and you can object to or restrict certain processing. If you’re in the UK or EU you have these rights under data protection law; if you’re in California you have similar rights under the CCPA. To exercise any of them, email [email protected] from the address on your account. We’ll respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
You can cancel your membership yourself at any time from your account page.
The stories on this site describe real violent crime and are intended for adults. The service is not directed at anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we’ll remove it.
Sign-in is handled by Supabase, payments by Stripe, both of which meet industry security standards. Our own systems use encrypted connections throughout and restrict access to member data to the account owner and our administrators. No system is perfect; if we ever learn of a breach affecting your information, we’ll tell you.
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we’ll email members before the change takes effect and update the date at the top.
